How long does delivery take?

We understand that when you place an order online you expect speedy delivery times so we use Australian Air Express to handle our consignments. Australian Air Express will deliver to all capital cities and major towns next day, for some of the more remote areas, delivery can take up to 2-3 days.

Same day delivery is available for most major capital cities. Stock availability and cut off times do apply. Please call 1300-765-575 for urgent deliveries.

We endeavour to keep all items well stocked so that we can ensure next day delivery where possible. This isn’t always possible with such a large range of items however. If you require your item urgently please call 1300-765-575.

We aim to deliver next day to everyone, we do sometimes run out of stock. If your order is urgent please call us on 1300 765 575 to let us know so that we can ensure you get your order ASAP!

Do I need to be home to accept the delivery?

Australian Air Express will not leave items without obtaining a signature first.

In the event that you won't be home to accept the delivery and there is somewhere safe to leave the parcel, you should indicate this in the shipping instructions when placing your order through our web site.

If security is a problem then we would always suggest where possible to have the parcel delivered to your work address or neighbours.

Australian Air express are also able to deliver to PO Boxes if that is your preferred method.

What payment methods do we have?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amercian Express, Direct Deposit and Paypal.

All of the payment choices are available on the final payment page in our fully secured shopping cart. 
Should you choose to pay by credit card all transactions are securely transmitted through the ANZ Egate payment gateway.

We have partnered with ANZ Egate to ensure we give you the absolute best in secure payment gateways.

Can I place an order if I don't have a credit card?

Absolutely! We have a direct deposit feature on our fully secured web site where you will be presented with our bank details after you have placed your order. Please quote the order number generated by our shopping cart when making your payment so that there won't be any delays in matching your payments.

Please note that direct deposit orders may take longer to process.

Is your web site secure?

Yes. We have secured our web site using the latest 256 bit SSL (secure socket layers) security certificates which means that all data either viewed or entered on any of our pages has been encrypted before it has been transferred. You will know the page is secure when you see the padlock icon on your browser or alternatively anytime the web site address begins with https.

 Cartridges Direct is also certified Hacker Safe by the McAfee Hacker Safe program. This program scans the web site daily and alerts us of any potential security issues.

What are the delivery charges?

Any order with Cartridges Direct over $75 is delivered to you free of charge using Australian Air Express. Any order under $75 will be charged a flat rate of $7.95. If you require a Point to Point courier, additional charges may apply.

Will I receive a tax invoice with my order?

All of our company customers will receive a tax invoice with their order and it will also be uploaded to your customer account once the order has been dispatched. Our shopping cart will generate a receipt once your order has been placed that will break down the products ordered and delivery costs if any.

Can I pick up my order?
 

Absolutely, our warehouse is located at 40/11 Bryants Road, Dandenong Victoria 3175. Please make sure that you place the order through our fully secured web site first and then call ahead prior to collection.

What if I ordered the wrong item?

Where ever possible we're happy to accept product back that has been ordered incorrectly, after all these things happen. If you have done this please call 1300-765-575 or email ra@cartridgesdirect.com.au to arrange this. Please keep in mind that for us to accept an item back it must be in saleable condition.

What is your return procedure?

Should you need to return an item for whatever reason please email ra@cartridgesdirect.com.au or call 1300-765-575 to arrange this. We will arrange a returns authorisation number for you so that the product can be easily matched when it is returned to our warehouse. Please note, returning product without an RA number will result in long delays with your return being processed.

Are your products guaranteed?

Absolutely, yes. All products distributed by Cartridges Direct are fully guaranteed by the manufacturers. In most cases all of the original manufacturers such as Canon, Epson and OKI have their own set procedures and guidelines that we must follow. Please call customer service on 1300-765-575 should you need details.

What does OEM mean?

OEM is short for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The original printer manufacturer is usually referred to as the OEM. Very often this is why you will hear the term OEM cartridge.

What are Compatible Cartridges?

Compatible cartridges are usually referred to as being 100% new and have been designed to be interchangeable with an OEM cartridge; many often state that they only contain 100% new components. They usually offer the consumer savings over an OEM cartridge.

What are Remanufactured Cartridges?

Remanufactured cartridges are OEM cartridges that have been put back through a manufacturing process. As a part of this process the cartridges are produced to either meet or exceed the original product. The process involves the cartridge being disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, worn parts being replaced, toner or ink being replenished, reassembled then fully tested and packed ready for resale. All cartridges supplied by us will always meet or exceed the original cartridge.

Will using a Compatible or Remanufactured product void my Printer Warranty?

Absolutely Not! In Australia it is illegal under the Fair Trades and Practices Act for a manufacturer to require a consumer to use a specific type of ink, cartridge or even paper. The brand of product is at your discretion.
